The truth on what is branding is.
You are not alone if you hear the phrase ‘branding is more than just a logo’. And you could ask many different branding experts what branding is, and get a few different responses. To make it absolutely clear, I believe (along with the rest of the team at Squark), that branding is simply the emotional connection between a brand and its audience. It is the feeling they have when they come in contact with your brand, the feeling they have when they unwrap a product, experience the service you provide or the feeling your colleagues when working within your company.
If you don’t create an emotion connection with your brand, you will simply fail to build trust, loyalty and excitement in your brand. Your customers will go elsewhere and your business will fail.
So how can you start to build an emotional connection between you and your audience. Here are Squark Design’s 3 beginner tips.
