Branding development an experience for an overseas real estate agency providing expert consultancy services for clients eager to invest
Fortis CBS Ltd approached us during a pivotal time of growth and transition. With a temporary website and placeholder logo in place, the company was ready to establish a more credible and professional identity. Their vision was to create a bold and confident brand that would support their evolving business—currently centred around a real estate company in Tenerife, Clear Blue Skies, but with ambitions to expand into broader ventures, possibly in the UK.
They wanted a logo that didn’t rely on obvious visual clichés like castles or forts. Instead, they were looking for something clean, modern, and refined – conveying trust, strength and flexibility, while being open-ended enough to grow with them. The brief also included a clear preference for a sophisticated black and gold colour palette to anchor the new visual identity.
A few months later, Fortis CBS returned with a new creative challenge: an exhibition stand design that would represent both Fortis CBS and Clear Blue Skies. The task was to balance both brands on a shared stand, ensuring each had a distinct presence, but worked harmoniously side by side.
We began by exploring the core values and future aspirations of Fortis CBS, identifying how best to reflect those through visual branding. We designed a bold, minimalistic logo with sharp geometry and strong typography to project authority, while still feeling adaptable and future-proof. The black and gold palette added a premium edge, lending gravitas and sophistication without feeling overly corporate or inaccessible.
The final brand identity positioned Fortis CBS as a confident, contemporary business with room to evolve, avoiding literal imagery and instead focusing on versatile brand elements that could adapt across both digital and print formats.
For the exhibition stand, we developed a layout that allowed both Fortis CBS and Clear Blue Skies to shine in their own space while maintaining a cohesive look and feel. We designed a seamless visual transition between the two sections—using consistent design language, shared structural elements, and a refined layout that balanced clean visuals with clear messaging. Fortis CBS occupied the shorter side of the stand, with a sleek and bold design that embodied their new identity, while Clear Blue Skies was featured across the longer side, bringing a lighter, lifestyle-focused aesthetic to contrast and complement Fortis.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with the Fortis team to refine messaging, select impactful imagery, and ensure everything worked smoothly in the physical space.
