Brand identity and visual branding for a growing, established hair studio
The owner of The Hair Room came to Squark Design initially looking to update her salon’s window graphics. However, she quickly shared that her logo felt outdated, and that there were lots of changes she wanted to make, but the sheer scale of it all had left her feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to begin.
While she was excited by the idea of modernising her brand, she needed help making it manageable and knowing where to start.
We had an honest and encouraging chat to break the project down into simple, achievable stages. This helped lift the pressure and made everything feel more possible.
We began with rebranding, creating a fresh new logo that felt modern, welcoming and true to her business. Several concepts were presented, and she quickly chose the one that, in her words, “made her smile.”
Once the new identity was in place, we began planning the next phases of the project, starting with social media brand visibility and the much-anticipated window graphics for the salon, designed to catch the attention of passersby and reflect the elevated aesthetic of the brand.
The Hair Room now has a refined and refreshed identity that the owner feels proud to display, both in person and online. What started as a daunting to-do list has turned into a confident, phased brand refresh that’s already making a visible impact.
The process helped reignite her enthusiasm, and we’re now continuing the journey together – building on this strong foundation to boost her local presence and social media visibility.
