Brand identity for a respected building company in Lincolnshire
Luke, the Director of Knights Building Services, had been using a clip art logo since the inception of his business. This logo did not reflect the quality and professionalism of his trade. Luke wanted to ensure his company stood out from competitors and conveyed a strong, professional image.
During our discussions, Luke shared his story, struggles and vision for the future. Inspired by his narrative, I envisioned a design that embodied strength, power, stability and professionalism. After sketching multiple ideas, I created two digital designs. One design stood out, and I presented this to Luke. He enthusiastically received and accepted the design.
The new logo significantly enhanced the professional image of Knights Building Services. Since its introduction, Luke’s business has doubled, with his day rate and profits doubling as well. He is now booked at least eight months in advance, with clients willing to wait for his services. While the design played a crucial role, it also reflected the core values and beliefs of Luke’s business, which were integral to the design process.
